Twitter dealt with several hours of severe issues where images and videos were not loading. Those problems appear to be resolved now.
On Monday morning, Twitter had some issues where links within tweets didn't work, and images wouldn't load for many people. It took less than an hour for the site to start working again. When people tried to click links, they got an error message that said their current plan didn't include access to the endpoint.
The Twitter Support account said an internal change caused the problem. Some Verge staffers had no issues, while others couldn't even load the site. Elon Musk commented on the site's brittleness. This happened a week after Musk laid off much of the product team, and there was a similar outage a month ago caused by an employee deleting data. The outage is now resolved.
