Elon Musk has warned of the risks of AI to society and told Fox News in a recent interview that an AI that cares about the understanding of the nature of the universe is unlikely to annihilate humans because humans are an interesting part of the universe.
You can see during the interview that Tucker Carlson has a very focused and concerned look on his face when discussing the nature of AI. If Elon Musk, one of the world's brightest and successful people, thinks AI needs to be done carefully, there's probably some truth to his reasons.
I'm of the opinion that AI is only a danger as far as humans program it and give it information to be so. A person who hasn't been indoctrinated to kill or harm others is much less likely to do so than someone who has been told to do that all their life.
Many people are criticizing the name TruthGPT because it is like TruthSocial, which was considered a failed social network to many.
Even if this AI is trained with all the good data about humanity, it's still possible that it might consider humanity a big threat to itself and the universe at large and try to make us go extinct.
When do you think we'll be able to use TruthGPT?
